Four Seasons In Japan

Japan has "four seasons" in Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, cherry blossoms in spring, autumn leaves and autumn leaves and one of the attractions of natural nature is also attractive.



I will introduce the change of the unique four seasons in Japan.



In Japan, the year is divided into four periods, from March to May, spring, June to August summer, September to November fall, December to February winter. In spring, summer, autumn and winter, temperature and climate change significantly.

The cold is loose and the air gets warmer gradually, the best season of travel.

From the end of June to the middle of July, rainy days are called "rainy season". Temperature temporarily lowers and it gets chilly.

Speaking of summer events in Japan, it is a summer festival and a fireworks display.

A summer festival is held from July to August all over Japan, people walking around the shrine walk around. Fireworks festivals are held at the coast and riverbanks, and the skyrocketed vivid colors of the night sky.

The heat is relaxing, the humidity also drops, the air is dry but the season is easy to spend. Like the spring cherry blossom season, autumn leaves spots such as Kyoto, Nara and Nikko are crowded with many tourists who visited in search of red leaves hunting. During this period various cultural events are held.

In December the temperature drops further and from the end of December it gets stiffer. From January to early March it is not unusual to become freezing point. There are snow in Hokuriku, Tohoku, Hokkaido district. There are years when heavy snow falls in Tokyo.

December 31st is called New Year's Eve and there is a custom of eating soba at the time when the date changes. Call New Year three days from New Year, eat New Year's cuisine called “Osechi” cooking, drink alcohol and celebrate the New Year.





Japan changes to a completely different face depending on the season, and you can enjoy various charms depending on the season.
